This week’s tip is to try a meditation journal. Journals are a great way to process your meditation practice. You don’t need to write much; just sit down for a minute or so after meditating and try just writing anything that stood out to you. You can write anything pleasant you experienced, anything you struggled with, and anything that was neutral or boring.
Writing like this can help us reflect on our meditation practice. We often stand up after our meditation and jump right into our lives. Sitting down for a moment to write about our practice can give us some understanding. You don’t even need to go back and read what you wrote, although it can be quite beneficial. Simply writing can serve as a huge help. We are able to organize our experience a little more clearly. Give it a shot!
